Mexico, 2016 Strassenverkäuferin
You look into warm, peaceful eyes.
With yours, you trace lines that describe a rich life.
You look into calm tranquillity.
You lose yourself in the truth of this face;
hoping again and again that it will tell you something more about life.
This portrait was taken in 2016 in Taxco, a small village north of Mexico City, and shows a street vendor. When asked if the photographer could take her portrait, she responded shyly and flattered at the same time. The picture is being offered for sale for the first time in collaboration with the printing company My Tönung. Part of the proceeds from this sale will be donated to the woman portrayed and her family
