“I speak five languages, but none without mistakes. I can speak without interruption, but I too often don't know what I mean with all those words. I only ever know what I really want to say when the answer can be a picture.

 

For me, photography is more than just pictures - it is my language, my way of making the invisible tangible. Light and shadow tell stories, colors whisper to each other, and somewhere in between lies the silent magic of a moment.

 

I am 38 years old, mother of Oceania, in love with Patrick, daughter of a Greek woman and a Grisons man. I grew up in Ticino, and a little bit in Toronto and Greece. I moved to Zurich when I was 18 and to Sulz (LU) when I was 33.

 

I take photographs based on my feelings - atmospheric reportages, documentary stories that show real emotions, deep aesthetics and the play of contrasts. Photography is my favorite form of expression. It combines everything that inspires me in life: color, aesthetics, emotion - and the interplay of these three components, without which life would only be half as beautiful for me.

 

I'm not interested in explaining something or putting it into words. Some moments, some nuances, some energies lose their power as soon as you name them. But a photo preserves them, lets them simply be - raw, alive, true.”
